Julie Stanley Bio

My art is capturing the art of others under the perfect light. My love for modeling grew into a career in beauty, fashion and commercial photography. Magazine publications include Vogue, Lucky, Allure, InStyle, Role Model, Modern Model, Pretty Living, Puretimes, Weddings in Cleveland, American Craft  and several images on VOGUE Italia’s website. I also have images available for licensing through Art+Commerce. Fall/Winter’15 marked my first season photographing New York Fashion Week and I’ve continued every season since. Inspired by my dad who was an amateur photographer as a hobby…I decided to try it out in college and haven’t put the camera down since. I grew up aspiring to model and have always been driven by the creations of others…in fashion design, make-up artistry, hair style and sculpture and of course the model’s ability to interpret all of this to the camera and audience. I went to modeling school when I was a teenager and have an associates degree in Photography/Graphic Communications. I have 15 years of experience working with one of the biggest commercial studios in Cleveland along with shooting model tests and beauty images with local fashion and jewelry designers and agencies, salons,  make-up artists and high end hair stylists. I plan on continuing this type of work and growing in the fashion/beauty industry as much as possible.
